"Unmasking Mental Well-being: Tempest Advertising's CSR Initiative"

Tempest Advertising Launches ‘UNMASK’ Initiative for Mental Well-being
Tempest Advertising recently launched a unique Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative called ‘UNMASK’. This initiative aims to foster open conversations surrounding everyday stress and emotional well-being. Timed with the International Day of Happiness on March 20, the campaign strives to redefine happiness by encouraging honest dialogues about daily struggles.
The campaign's inception involved a social media drive emphasizing the significance of recognizing stress rather than normalizing it. Moving beyond the digital realm, Tempest organized an on-ground activation at key Hyderabad Metro stations, including Ameerpet. Here, commuters were engaged with thought-provoking messages addressing common life challenges.
As part of the initiative, passers-by were encouraged to don physical masks and then symbolically “unmask” themselves, representing the act of opening up about their feelings. The offline activation was complemented by the distribution of stickers and bookmarks carrying reminders about the importance of addressing stress and seeking support when needed.
The campaign strategically combined relatable messaging with experiential engagement to underscore the idea that everyday struggles should not go unnoticed or invalidated. To amplify its impact, Tempest also launched a dedicated website for ‘UNMASK’ and introduced a helpline number to facilitate easier access to support services.
