Speaking of the birth of AI, John McCarthy first introduced the term "Artificial Intelligence" in 1956 at a conference. This historic conference, called the Dartmouth Workshop, took place at Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, USA. It was at this event that scientists and mathematicians first discussed how machines could think and make decisions like humans.
However, the idea of AI can be traced back to the theories of mathematician Alan Turing in the 1940s and 50s. He raised questions like "Can machines think?", which shaped the direction of computer and AI development.
In the early years of AI, researchers faced many limitations—computing power was low, data was limited, and computers were expensive. However, with advances in computer technology, various areas of AI, such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning, began to develop.
