Compass Communications Partners with FOCAL to Elevate the DUILF
Compass Communications has recently been appointed as the official communications partner for the Foundation for Culture, Arts and Literature (FOCAL), a non-profit organization based in Guwahati. This collaboration marked its beginning with the successful promotion of the Dibrugarh University International Literature Festival (DUILF) held in association with Dibrugarh University.
The DUILF, now in its third edition, has established itself as a crucial platform that links global literary figures with the rich cultural tapestry of Northeast India. The recent four-day event brought together more than 150 writers, poets, and thinkers from 25 different countries, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and creativity. The festival was graced by renowned personalities like Ann Morgan, Maria Reimondez, Jahnu Barua, Manoj Mukund Naravane, and Krishnan Srinivasan, among others.
This literary extravaganza saw the participation of nearly 12,000 literature enthusiasts, underscoring the growing interest and engagement that the festival has garnered over the years.
Rahul Jain, Curator and Chief Coordinator of DUILF, expressed his enthusiasm about the alliance with Compass Communications, highlighting the significance of expanding the festival's outreach to a wider audience, especially to young readers and students in the region.
